People who've had depression (and before taking the treatment), did you have moments of respite?

I feel low most of the time, with lack of focus and tiredness.

There are a few moments in the day where I feel good, for example after an achievement for a patient or when the adrenaline is running in a emergency. (I don't feel good but I don't feel depressed, I feel focused, mostly cause I don't have time to feel otherwise and because I have to anyways.)

Also, when someone says something good about me or compliments me in things I value, for example when a colleague said: I look up to you when it comes to work, I felt elated. (While I don't believe it much deep down but it made me so happy.)

But all in all, whenever something bad happens, even if it is insignificant, the stress raises to a peak and all the depressed ideas come rush in.

So in 07 days, I might have 4 days of feeling 60-70% of the time like I don't want to live anymore. And 2 days when it is 90%, and at least one day when it is 100 or even 200%.

So, how was it for you?

Honey, please start your medication the doctor gave you for depression, so you can start feeling better. ❤🫂

@LadyGrace You hit the nail right on the head. Lol. I was doubting whether I exaggerated my symptoms to the psychiatrist for some reason.
Also, because it is so new to me to take antidepressants, the doctor tried to reassure me... but man, even though I had to tell patients way worse diagnoses and tried to reassure them... when the something like that happens it just takes you by surprise, if not shock. 🥹
Pray for me honey, 🥹❤
@Friendlyperson I definitely will continue to pray for you. 🥰❤🫂
