I'm struggling a bit today

She lit up my day for a while but she's gone to bed so back into darkness I'm plunged. A friend has been trying to help but it's not the same. Is this loneliness really a side effect of love, or am I depressed again? Probably depression.

Is it more like its difficult to feel like friendship and love has permeance beyond when it happening in the moment? I just want to understand, I guess.
