@Picklebobble2 That's a good point. If we shed off who we are, and just let us be. Maybe depression can't happen?

@Queendragonfly if Carrey were making that statement after having done Ace Ventura or The Mask I could probably understand it.
Both are headaches to watch let alone be the star of.
All that manic energy must have been exhausting and the idea that he was having to be these characters rather than something a bit more life-like would certainly have any actor questioning their sanity.
But he has had some good roles too.
Some in some quite clever stories.
