What is your primary coping strategy when you're suffering from anxiety?

I retreat and want to hide from the world. I don't want to go anywhere. I prefer to sleep but can't sleep when feeling anxious.

I look after me. I make space for myself - if I can, and spend as much time as I am able doing things I enjoy.
It sounds - and, I guess is - selfish, but put yourself first.
