What one thing would you most want to change about yourself?

My depression. I feel myself slipping. I am so scared right now and on the verge of tears. Like someone waiting his turn during a procession of executions or to be torcherd. But i can escape myself. I am a monster to myself.

Clinical depression is a serious condition. I of course haven't the expertise to advise the best plan of action however, there is a somewhat newer kind of psychology especially aimed at lay people who need a therapeutic plan of action.

Please check out on YouTube "Positive Psychology" this is a healing method specifically developed for folks like yourself. It is based on the human need of HAPPINESS ( sounds like an over simplification but rooted in basic psychological needs)

This psychology uses simple language anyone can easily grasp, it includes exercises that can put people suffering like you on the path to wellness.

@Grateful4you when people think they have depression they need to realize it could be worse. They could be living outdoors in some third world country
