Down and Out

What can I do when I’m down and out? When no one cares what you’re depressed about. When you can’t find a friend to lean on, You realize all the good ones are gone. So many times I want to scream and shout, I can’t help it, that’s how it is when you’re down and out. A day late and a dollar short to me is a way of life, I can’t handle confrontation, it only adds to my pain and strife. I don’t know how farther I can go on, It’s hard to surrender knowing you were once strong. I once thought I was a winner beyond a shadow of a doubt, That only worsens the pain when I’m down and out. I guess this is the way I was born to be, How sad knowing this is my destiny.

You make your own destiny. You know you are unhappy. You are grieving. It is now time to move forward. What will you do to make positive changes? It is on you now, my friend. Depression is not a place to wallow in. Sit down. Make a list of changes. Start small. Work at your own pace. Kick your own ass. I hear you. I feel for you. Now move it. No one can save you, but you.
@Waymor Miss dear or dear Miss is fine too. LOLZ. Anytime, dear.

1) Understand that depression is normal, but not something to wallow in,

2) Love yourself,

3) You have to exercise and maintain a reasonably healthy diet. If you’re not sure what that is, just try to limit carb and sugar intake.

4) Get out of the house. Talk to people.

5) Find a hobby you love or have forgotten and do it!

6) LIMIT the intake of drugs and alcohol.

7) If the depression lasts more than a few days, or is overwhelming you, see a therapist. There’s no stigma. That’s bullshit. It’s no different than going to the Dr to help combat the flu.

Think down but not out.
You have it in your power to change things for the better.
You have already shown that when you were on top.
It's ok to be down for a bit just try not to stay there very long.
Hell I could tell you about down. Been there a long time. A crazy long time.
But I am not staying here.
I will find a way out. It just may take some time.
We will dig our selves out because we know what it's like to not be struggling.

Everybody feels this way at times. Unfortunately the only people that get any sort of real sympathy are young pretty women. The rest of us, no one gives a damn about.

@CestManan Yes you’re right, everyone has bad days. But I beg to differ with ya about the younger women part. I believe I’ll show more sympathy to an older woman cause in some cases they’ve seen things like I have. Thanks for your reply. Take care,
