Mrs. Budwick has a similar situation.
She books entertainers. EVERY Venue in the country is closed.
I'm still able to work at home, and we got stimulus money.
But her company is toast in the interim.
IF her clients manage to survive the shutdown, it may be fall - winter before reopening - if then! And what of those she books? These aren't A List people - very talented, just not nationally known. What the heck are they supposed to do?

No, your complaints are far from stupid.
Over reaction took out your business and hers.
I wish you both only good things rebuilding.
