I Fight Depression and Loneliness Everyday

I recently invested in a body pillow. After some of the events of this past year, my brother dying in particular, I figured holding on to at least something at night, would help me sleep. To my surprise, not only does it help me to feel slightly less empty, it also helps me sleep longer than I normally would. It was a very worthy investment, just so I can hold on to something. There's just one thing I can't control...I'd give anything for it to hold me back.

Can I suggest a weighted blanket, also, if you have not tried one. I am glad the body pillow has offered some rest and a bit of relief!

@JaggedLittlePill Hi. May I ask what a weighted blanket might offer? Or is it basically the feeling is someone holding you?

@GymRat584 It is primarily used for Children or Adults with anxiety, or those on the autism spectrum. It offers the feeling of being held in a way but mostly the weight is a sort of comfort. Has a sensory calming effect.

This is a quick link I found but there is probably much better information out there on this.
