I Used to Be Depressed and Still Get Depressed Sometimes

It’s getting really ugly.. I just hope I can make it without something terrible.

That is why the GOLD in life - is mind peace.
With daily meditation, you get to know those thoughts you hang onto. Then you can notice when they sit and take effect in your mind. If you think over and over tbe same life events, then you become stagnant, stuck going no where.

To be in nature as much as possible, to hear running water, birds, wind in the trees, will rest you in truth.

Each day is new, yet, your thinking on past events, will cloud your new day. That is why, with a still mind, you can be with what "is" right now, not what your mind is mulling over.

Movement is great, to move is to create new brain connection, else the same over and over. Also still mind, will allow for those new creative thoughts to come in, you can hear them, then.

Thank you.. what you’re saying is true but, when you the thoughts get into your head, you can’t stop them. All you can do is wait it out and hope you don’t do something stupid.. or at least have someone there for you to help you get through them @SoFine

Depression is anger turned in. What are you angry about? What can you do about it? Use the angry energy to change whatever is getting to you.

@KaiserSolze not really.. I’m not angry, it just hits me and I start to feel bad about almost everything
