I Have Battled Depression Since Childhood

When I was in 7th grade and discovered philosophy for the first time. I decided I wanted to be a really good person. I wanted to grow up to be someone amazing, but I also knew that I had a lot of emotional issues.
So instead of taking care of those issues, I decided that I was just going to pretend they weren’t there. I believed in fake it till you make it. What actually happened was, I suppressed all of it so far inside myself that I forgot about them.

Well sometimes that's the right decision, to just continue with life. I've done it a number of times as well

@MartinTheFirst I mean in some sense yes, but how I did it has absolutely screwed me over.
