This question is going to sound offensive to some, but I have no intention to offend, okay, I'm just stumped

But what I don't understand is that everyone is all about not being offensive, and being polite, saying things in a nice way, dont be rude etc,

And hey, that's great.
I love me some of that good ol tactfulness.
It's delicious.

But what I don't understand is that you get the same time of people telling everyone we should be patient with autistics because that's just their communication style...
And not to take offense easily because they don't mean to be offensive?

But the thing is, how do you know if they're autistic or not unless they tell you?

I mean, why should they have to tell anyone if they don't want to?

Wouldn't it be better just to not take offense by default?
Just try to understand the actual core of what someone is saying, instead of just brushing them off as a rude troll or XYZ?

Wallflowers aren’t autistic for example..
but our NDIS system readily labeles them so for disability…
