I have autism

I get this feeling I annoy everyone who interacts with me. I feel like I'm annoyingly chatty about random things people don't care about. When I find something cool I just get this urge to shear it or I'll go crazy and won't feel okay untill I've told someone. Like the other day I wanted to tell my mum something while she was watching TV but she got mad and told me to stop talking because shes watching her show. I then felt deflated and shut up before walking away

I'm sorry you feel that way. You mother should have handled that situation better, as she should be familiar with how you behave and should know how to address you properly.

There's nothing wrong with how you behave. Yes, some people may get annoyed, but the people who really care about you understand that they are the ones who have to adjust to accommodate you. Even if they do get annoyed, that doesn't mean they don't care.

It might be more difficult dealing with people who don't know you're autistic. I'm afraid you'll just have to figure out how to communicate with them, maybe just by coming out and saying something like "I'm autistic, so please let me know if I'm annoying you" or something like that.

I know it's hard, but you're OK. Don't let your struggles get you down.
