Does anyone here have experience with ADHD? What advice would you give to someone dealing with it?

My girlfriend just got diagnosed with it a few days ago and she's pretty bummed out. I wish I could be more supportive, but I literally have no idea what could help

I know there are medications to help.

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and amphetamine) is a prescription stimulant medication commonly used as part of a treatment program for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It is approved for use in adults and children 3 years of age and older. Adderall XR, the extended-release form, is approved for use in adults and children 6 years of age and older, and Mydayis, another form, is approved for individuals 13 years and older.

@Softandsweet2 Yeah, I think meds are the next step. She just got on new meds for anxiety and isn't really looking forward to more new meds
