What if there’s nothing wrong with me and I’m just really dramatic?

couldn't it be both?

RebelFox · 36-40, F
Sometimes I realize I need to rein myself in because I’m getting too intense. I create something or write or sing. When you’re sensitive, you can be a bit dramatic 🖤 it makes life interesting
itsok · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins what do you think the chances are that I’m such a good liar that I’ve convinced myself and professionals that there are things wrong with me? 😏
BlueVeins · 22-25
@itsok 0%, and this line of logic seems a lot like a way of denying yourself your own feelings. I think if you had invented your own psychological condition in your head, that'd be strong evidence of another serious psychological condition anyway.
Recognizing the problem is often the battle, seeking appropriate medical advice is then a priority. Lying through ones teeth is an inner battle that only you know how to deal with. It's a great question though and I'm sure has other "readers" questioning themselves.

@Majorlatency i have a care team, but sometimes I question whether any of it’s real
@itsok I'm very happy to hear that you have help.. The reality of it all is potentially your inner defense trying to cope with it. Induced denial vs succumbing to the problem. You need to talk this aspect through with an expert.. 😘

being dramatic about your sufferings does not mean you're not suffering. it means you're suffering and struggling with it and in a way reaching out for communication and understanding, or even for hope.

just my opinion anyway

@SW-User hi

@itsok Hi goc
Coppercoil · M
I think thats it.. fire your crack team if mental health professionals, drop out of the harvard study program for rare mental health disorders, stop cooperating in darpa and other goverment funded reasearch and development programs, that are trying to weaponize your condition to and psychologically turn brave enemy combatants into terrified field mouses. Publish your treatise for peer review, and if found sound, go on ted talks, write a new york times best seller, go on Oprah and become the self help guru i always believed you were!
itsok · 31-35, F
@Coppercoil I want my own cage that I can hang onto upside down and spy on you.
Coppercoil · M
@itsok lolol.. well.. you would get fed VERY WELL and i would take care of everything. No more worries for you. Haha.. and ill make sure thr cage has good wifi, gym equip, comfy furniture, big screen tv, a garden, lots of trees, a bench swing, ourdoor speakers, a fire pit, a tree house with a telescope in it to keep an eye on me and your other friends, a weekly masseuse visit, a small pool, a helicopter pad for flying in friends and family, a guest house of course, frequent visits by me for a good conversation over a pot of premium imported indian tea, and a secret escape door should you need to sneak out and run through the rain naked inder a full moon when you so wish too.

Then find your calling as an actress or a producer of canine documentaries.
@itsok I have cute teeth, of the one's that are left, but that's because I'm English. Does Suki have an English heritage? Perhaps we're related?
Pfuzylogic · M
@Majorlatency
Suki was very brave and showed us her snarl.
@Pfuzylogic Bit like me in the morning. Of course it's all relative...

i think everyone that actually has something wrong with them feels this way
GerOttman · 70-79, M
Well you do appear to have a natural talent for it. With a little bit of luck and some training you could turn professional!
Viper · M
Then there is still something wrong with you, just a different thing, either way you are normal, as there is something wrong with all of us
itsok · 31-35, F
@Viper damn it.
ok well but drama queen just sounds more fun
Viper · M
@itsok well you can go by it instead ;)
Reject · 31-35, M
Don’t worry that’s everyone.
itsok · 31-35, F
@Reject everyone is dramatic?
Reject · 31-35, M
@itsok Yes. Haven’t you noticed how everyone always thinks their particular problems are the worst ever? Protagonist syndrome. I think we’re all guilty of feeling like what we have to deal with is bigger than it is.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
Probably the case
itsok · 31-35, F
@TheRascallyOne thanks bun
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
