I gave up and called my doctor

So as some of you know I struggle with sleeping. I rarely get a full night's rest. I'm exhausted all the time well. It's really taking a toll on me so today I made a video appointment with my doctor and told him I give up please help me. There is a sleeping pill he's been wanting me to try but I am afraid to. I'm afraid it will knock me out. My daughter sleep walks from time to time and my son will some time walk up at 2 am and think it's time to start the day. I have to be able to hear them. I have to be able to wake up. But I'm not alone anymore I have Joel here and he's been pushing me to try these pills. He will be able to get up if one of the kids do get up in the middle of the night. So I did it. I'll pick them up tonight. I will give them a try Friday night. I have to get some sleep. I can't keep this up.

First thing. Never ever do a video call. With anyone. It's a spying tool for the government to spy on you.

You should care more about your privacy and your 1st, 4th and other amendment rights.

Anyone one can intercept them calls without your knowledge. Try seeing a doctor in person in person in your home without no cellphones, smart cameras, smart TVs or smart speakers around.

As you not sleeping

Find something to do that makes dog ass tired. Like dig up half acre yard, remove the sod, weeds, rocks, break up the dirt clumps, make raised beds. That's day one. That's should last about 12 hours with you and your kids with just couple of pitchforks

I bet you will sleep better if you're exhausted

I'm just so against the new the new stuff, tracking, loss of privacy.

I'm at the point that my paranoia where I'm going start refusing to go to the doctor. Because they put everything on the computer and insurance companies use that information against you later.

Yes hospitals and clinics sell your data to health insurance companies

@HumanEarth well if that's true, they already have all my information because I go to the doctors at least 3 or 4 times a month

I used go once every 10 years

I don't trust doctors

@HumanEarth sorry you feel that way but without them my step son and I would probably be dead right now.
