Is Swearing and Cursing good for your Psychology.

Is swearing and cursing good for your psychology.
The reason i ask this question is that i was brought up not to swear but looking back i think that it made me look soft among my contemporaries, i was often bullied and i think if i had swore in those occasions i would have got on better.
I think that it relieves tension a lot what do others think?

No, not really. It has become fashionable lately for the performance value of looking tough. And, it still does get attention, views, and likes. Ultimately though from a society perspective, attention followers, viewers, and those how are oriented to "like" social media will become desensitized to it and it will take physical displays to achieve the same reaction, on the order of hitting, slapping, wrestling, or killing. As far as individual psychology, it really doesn't make you feel any better, stronger, or less bullied. It just makes you feel more victimized and less in control, like one of the crowd, and like a sell-out. If that is what you want, go for it.
