Are you ever surprised by your Dad's huevos?

There's just something about my Dad that when he complains about something, people almost cry.

Like we were out for dinner once and his beer was a bit more bitter than normal
and when he complained they were all like "Oh we are so sorry 🥺, the last batch we had in is infact a little bitter"

He did it to the poor postboy the other day, cause he delivered my Mum's package to next door by accident
and his reaction was similar.
He's 72 and I don't know how he does it.

My dad was similar to yours. He lived to 86 and a WWII vet that seen some horrid stuff in his early 20s. He wouldn't go into details or even talk about what he seen. Just once I remember when he went to the Philippines as we have all but driving the Japanese off the Island. All he said was it smelled like death and left it at that. But I never heard him say anything bad about someone even if they did something to him. He was just a kind and giving man that I miss very much
@MissNen If we remember the best about our fathers it can bring out the best in ourselves.
