Desmond has changed for the better so much 🥺

He still struggles with his mental illness and always will, but it seems the longer we’re together, the less he does. He’s so much more in control now. He still has his bad days. I ask him every single day how he feels, and he’s always honest with me. I always know the answer anyway — when he’s hurting internally. But even so, he just seems so much more grounded than he used to be. I don’t know if he’s noticed, but I have. If he’s really doing better and I truly am the reason for that…
