I work with people who have Alzheimer's. There are ways to help. Anti inflammatory diet, light exercise/movement, good sleep and sense of purpose each day/being needed. Doing her favorite things and making her smile. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

I understand your concern. We went through that with our mom years ago, when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. In fact, I have an older sister and a younger brother both suffering with it now. Very sad!
I do hope there’s an explanation other than dementia going on with your mom.

This is such a hard thing to go through. Had a grandfather who had Alzheimer's. Don't wish that on anyone. Hopefully the doctor comes up with something other than that to explain what's happening.

UPDATE.
Doctor noticed sign in early alzheimers. My daughter in law checked in on her three times over the week with only one day where she noticed a few memory issues.

I have to say good for you as a lot of people write it off as just old age. Hopefully you can intervene in time to stop or reverse it. My advice is to prepare yourself for the worst. In the meantime I am sending positive vibes and thoughts your way that it works out for the best.

Check it out as soon as possible. My wife fought admitting what was going on for years and it just made things worse.
