that's a tough disorder for so many reasons including it was a very trendy disorder to fake for a hot minute. it really set back in unserstanding what the disorder is for a lot of society and a lot of people will not take it seriously. i'm very sorry

@Frostcloud hahah the “fakers” (I guess idk if they really are or if my case is just mild) are probably one of the reasons why I thought I didn’t have it and it was just a brain tumor 💀 I am still trying to get my therapist to fully convince me. They just made me seem so normal 😭 the last thing I’ll ever want to do is tell someone who they’re talking to.

@666Maggotz yeah i totally get it!!! that's another big issue with them is that they misrepresent and romanticize it so much that people misdiagnose themselves and don't get proper treatment, or deter people from understanding their own actual diagnoses because they don't relate to the fakers. i'd block them out and focus on what your therapist and qualified resources have to say on it
