@DeletedReality If there’s one thing I can be, it’s a distraction😂
It’s my pleasure 😌
Are you medicated for the illness that's causing the manic episodes??? 🤔

@HootyTheNightOwl Whoa thanks for that, some people just goes right to making assumptions. Also if i type out something st*pid please ignore it i have no filter even just chatting online apparently

Anyways, my shrink upped my dosage and wants me to wait 2 weeks. If it doesn't do shiz, I'll be put on something else apparently.

Yeah journals used to work, reading used to work, movies and tv, extremely loud headache inducing music, bike rides, jumping rope till i feel like my lungs would collapse, walks at night (ya know, the thrill tires me out enough to sleep ahahahahaha freaking dangerous)... none has helped so far
@DeletedReality Another 2 weeks of mania isn't going to be much fun for you, though... not if you're tired and wanting to sleep now.

This journal is different, though... it might not help you with your mania, but you might be able to find patterns in nights where you slept better that you might be able to take with you into your next manic episiode.

There's things like a hot bath before you try to sleep and I read something about meditation - but I'm not sure how meditation would work if you're in the middle of a manic episode and your brain is screaming at you to "Go".

@HootyTheNightOwl true true. Also it's expensive as hell so I'd be so mad if it ends up not doing anything 😒

Yeah that's what my shrink said. I do sometimes write everything that pops in my mind. I usually consume a minimum of 6 or so pages a day what with all the random stuff i write. Like when you pour water to a smaller basin so the bigger one doesn't overflow. Does that make sense? Cause that's how i see it. I always have my journal on hand and I immediately write down stuff including the specific time i thought of them. Then i give it to my shrink so she deals with it cause I'm too high strung to think properly lols

I really really really wanna find an off switch 😑 it's on a constant green light i cannot ahahaahhahaha

Do you have an outlet for all that energy? When I go manic, I post here. Post after post. I hope you can sleep soon
DeletedReality · 26-30, F
@TheLordOfHell Thank you thank you. And yeah, it does so much

True, coffee does give me palpitations and causes my anxiousness to sky rocket. There's no where to go really. I mean, my psychiatrist just throws meds at me and my psychologist was my professor so our sessions usually ended up as class lessons 🙃 yeahhhh im a Psychometrician and was taking MS in Psychology. Which means shiz cause i can't find any more healthier ways to deal with it. Also can't really tell if I'm being rational or not during an episode so just adds confusion hahahahahahahhahah ugh.

@DeletedReality Damn I hate that. Do you at least have a good support system at home? Someone to watch over you while this is going on?
DeletedReality · 26-30, F
@TheLordOfHell HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No, none. They don't get it. For them, mental health issues are a matter of just not thinking right.

I laugh because why despair over it ahahahahahaha
