Are you medicated for the illness that's causing the manic episodes??? 🤔

@HootyTheNightOwl Yeah. Have a whole lot to manage my bipolar disorder. They just keep upping my dosages 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
@DeletedReality I had a feeling that it might be bipolar... I just didn't want to presume.
If they're still upping your dosages, it doesn't sound like they are quite happy with the control they currently have over the bipolar to start with.
Have you tried CBT??? Some say that can help to restore more even moods - a sleep diary might also help, at least you can show that to your doctors and ask if your meds could be the culprits.

@HootyTheNightOwl Whoa thanks for that, some people just goes right to making assumptions. Also if i type out something st*pid please ignore it i have no filter even just chatting online apparently
Anyways, my shrink upped my dosage and wants me to wait 2 weeks. If it doesn't do shiz, I'll be put on something else apparently.
Yeah journals used to work, reading used to work, movies and tv, extremely loud headache inducing music, bike rides, jumping rope till i feel like my lungs would collapse, walks at night (ya know, the thrill tires me out enough to sleep ahahahahaha freaking dangerous)... none has helped so far

@DeletedReality Another 2 weeks of mania isn't going to be much fun for you, though... not if you're tired and wanting to sleep now.
This journal is different, though... it might not help you with your mania, but you might be able to find patterns in nights where you slept better that you might be able to take with you into your next manic episiode.
There's things like a hot bath before you try to sleep and I read something about meditation - but I'm not sure how meditation would work if you're in the middle of a manic episode and your brain is screaming at you to "Go".

@HootyTheNightOwl true true. Also it's expensive as hell so I'd be so mad if it ends up not doing anything 😒
Yeah that's what my shrink said. I do sometimes write everything that pops in my mind. I usually consume a minimum of 6 or so pages a day what with all the random stuff i write. Like when you pour water to a smaller basin so the bigger one doesn't overflow. Does that make sense? Cause that's how i see it. I always have my journal on hand and I immediately write down stuff including the specific time i thought of them. Then i give it to my shrink so she deals with it cause I'm too high strung to think properly lols
I really really really wanna find an off switch 😑 it's on a constant green light i cannot ahahaahhahaha
