mental state

I feel like for a year and half now I have been failing a constant struggle to be happy. And it's one thing after another , I am barely keeping my head above it all.

As long as peace, happiness, success, value or anything else are measured by outside factors, people will continue to feel sad, restless, worried and more.

There will always be a reason not to do what we should, something to worry about, events to anticipate, human events to navigate, reasons to use, reasons to hide. That flow will never cease and timing your wellbeing to its pace is dangerous. The trick is to be calm in the storm, not in matching its pace. We control surprisingly little in this world, but we do have eminent control over our own self-care, emotions and reactions. Protect yourself, exercise your mind and soul and let the flow of the universe move as it knows how to do.

@Graylight Thank you for this, I will keep your advice in mind and try it out when things get hard.

@jrcervin And just remember... Just like the good times never seem to last, neither do the bad times. You've got this.
