Continuous complaining could be the result of many things.
- There are those that only see fault with world outside of them. And they always notice that of others because they see perfection in themselves. The standard is always about “what they would have done”.
- There are those who complain but bear no responsibility to take action to change the situation.
- And there are those who don’t know when to quit and accept when it’s not within their power to change the outcome:

@CookieCrumbs Well said. I suppose that perhaps I tend to see the singular in that... Any time I find fault in...what simply IS. It then remains ME whom I complain to for it is I with the problem.

I usually ask myself first before I complain: “is it something I could change?”
If the answer is NO, I complain only to the one who could change the desired outcome for me.
