&*#%^&*$ Received a phone call from my Medical Centre.

About 10 days ago I had a C.A.T. scan on my lungs.
The government offered free Lung Cancer screening for people who previously smoked.
I smoked a packet of cigarettes a day for 30 years.
Stopped at least a decade ago.
We agreed that I will not need to worry about it unless there was an issue in which case I would be contacted.
That contact has now occurred, and I have an appointment for Thursday morning.

Heres hoping its something minor and fixable. And take some comfort in knowing you are someplace that will get you world class care at no cost and they will do whatever it takes.. Good luck with it. And keep me in the loop please..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Cancer treatment is not free.
Only the screening test is free.
For public patients (myself) 85% is covered, not including many extras.
I will keep you in the loop.
