What are examples of memes that you initially found to be fun but now are sick of seeing?

I can think of two:

1) the ones that show a cassette tape and a pencil, with the message that only people above a certain age will see the connection.
2) all the Ikea ones that show a pile of stuff that needs to be "assembled."

The only kind I can think of that I'm really sick of seeing, right off, are those I never did find to be 'fun' or funny. I've been seeing some version of them since 2010, and many seem to find them hilarious every single time. 馃槕

By definition a meme is a clich茅 and it loses its appeal to me as soon as it gains acceptance.

@SunshineGirl actually I'm going y to add to your definition... The original meme concept was based on viruses, in that an idea became self replicatiing and spread through a culture in similar ways to pandemics... Most so called memes really aren't memes at all...a good example of a meme is Trump's claim the election was stolen... It started with one person and spread widely....

@Convivial This is the first definition that has made sense to me. Thanks.

@DrWatson that's ok and glad it made sense to you...i think it's from Richard Dawkins book... Maybe lol

Baby Yoda memes, the white cat at the table with the 2 women crying at it, and getting pretty sick of SpongeBob memes too.

@DearAmbellina2113 Sponge Bob never did anything for me.
