Tell me your funniest Dad story

When I was a kid, my dad had been waiting for a check from his previous employer, and he was on pins and needles about it. He finally got a check, but when he opened it, instead of the check he was expecting, it was a check from his utilities company, paying him a dollar because he'd overpaid by a dollar the last time he'd paid that bill.

My dad was so disappointed and mad, he said, "THEY CAN STICK THAT DOLLAR UP THEIR ASS!" and threw the $1 check into the wood stove. 🤣🤣🤣

When I saw this meme it reminded me of that story.

There was this plastic green carpet thing in the kitchen and underneath it was spiky. So i would flip it over and wait for him to walk on it and hear him go yaowwwwww or id get his sink aquirter thingy with the rubber bands and if he turned on the sink he would get sprayed. I but he payed along always a good sport.

I could probably tell more than just one.
One in particular I remember was that my dad had told me to be home at a certain time and not to be out drinking.
So I came home late after a night of drinking worrying about catching hell only to find out that he had been out with his lodge buddies drinking that night, and the only one not so amused was my mom.

When my dad used to fart my mother would say 'Stop doing that,it stinks'! My dad would always reply 'Take bigger sniffs, and it will go quicker'!

Poppa picked dad up at the airport and was driving him home when they saw a pretty lass doing some gardening. Her bending down must have been a sight. As they forgot to turn and drove into her garden barely missing her. 😅

back when i was in high school, dad owned a laundromat. we lived across the street from it. one afternoon, someone came knocking at the door and telling dad that there was some guy who was cracked out and making threats to his customers. me and dad went over to the laundromat to see what was going on. some dude was making a scene, talkin nasty and being vulgar in front of the women and kids at the laundromat. my dad who was pretty big at the time and not one to mess with, said sir, i would appreciate it if you didnt talk that way in front of the women and children in here. he looked at my dad and said what are you going to do about it. did picked him up and carried him out the door and tossed him into the parking lot. dude got up and started towards dad who had his hand in his back pocket by this time. dude said, hey, i dont want any trouble and left. we never saw him again.
