My wife. She's still alive, but her dementia got so bad we could no longer care for her at home, she needed 24/7 care and watching. So we had to put her into a memory care unit a few months ago. After 40+ years together in this house, the place feels so empty without her.

A few pounds I was trying to lose

My job and whatever was supposed to be my career

Same. I'm developing alopecia it seems. I already shed like hell, but the last thing I needed was actual balding patches. This year is wild.

My mind. Went walkabouts and never came back.

My wife's presence -- her dementia got so advanced we had to put her into a memory care facility. 40+ years together here in this house, now it's so lonely.

I'm going blind. I can't read real books anymore and I don't see my tablet very well. My days on SW are numbered.

The stress had gotten to me too. I'm regrowing a lot now.

But the hardest was definitely losing my elder. I feel like everyone lost when she passed on. Such a wonder being.

How much have you lost? Only on your head, in patches or total?

I hate to think about that with my sister fighting cancer and being in the hospital since May 23rd to present. Stage 4 cancer tumor removed from her tongue and been fighting for her life ever since. So, I won't answer this in fear of the consequences.
