A friend of mine has a problem

She says whenever she and her boyfriend get intimate she feels pain though they've done it a couple of times over the three years they've been together. She was a virgin when she met him. He's talking about marryimg her and she's worried because she knows when they move in together it'll be a regular thing. What could be the issue?

Tell your "friend" to get herself some basic education about sex" arousal, lubrication, foreplay, consent, "easing into it", contraception, etc. and an appointment with a doctor to discuss her sexual health. No need to be shy.
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@Northwest I'll screenshot and send it to her. Thank you.

Why don't she visit a good gynaecologist?
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@Berti33 She's shy 😅
Berti33 · 36-40, F
@Thandeka.. She can have an online consultation first.. I suppose. 🤔
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@Berti33 Will hear what she says.
She's not relaxing enough???
She's not aroused enough???
She's only had sex a couple of times and needs more experience???

How the hell do we know what's going on??? We're not in her body...

@HootyTheNightOwl Doctors don't know everything. A lot of people go to them for help but don't get their issues solved. We don't know everything either. Everyone has moments where they ask questions no one has answers to. I was hoping someone has experienced the same thing here and could help out my friend. It wouldn't have hurt you to keep scrolling instead of being mean.
@Thandeka Doctors will know more than the average SW user.

For a start, they have access to equipment that enables them to do scans.

Even if someone here has gone through similar, there's no guarantee that it's the same - their problem might have been caused by cancer and yours could be endometriosis.

At least go and get the obvious ruled out before marking it down as "Something I've got to live with". If you get to the end of that process and come back with nothing - then you start looking for tips in what others have been through.
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@HootyTheNightOwl I told her to go see a doctor and she said she'll think about it.

She hasn't adjusted to him yet. Since it's only been a couple of times they've been together. Although, if its still a problem once they've been at it for awhile she needs to see a gynecologist. And to tell her once she adjust she'll never go back to average! 😉
Nasty · 31-35, M
@PEACH4LIFE sounds like there talking about me
PEACH4LIFE · 46-50, F
@Nasty 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ SMH! There's more besides you!
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
She'd better talk to her doctor.
My wife has that problem now as she has been through the menopause but it comes down to the same thing plenty of lube and being gentle taking there time to warm up.
@Thandeka I dont with her as its not her fault
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@nevergiveup You seem like a wonderful husband.
@Thandeka I do my best
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
If they only had sex a couple of times over 3 year's. Her body isn't that use to having sex. She could use lubricant to help
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@smileylovesgaming I told her to use baby oil. She says they've done it many times it's why she's confused why it's still painful.

Endometriosis.

She should see a doctor immediately if intercourse is painful. It isn’t normal and something should be done to treat whatever is the cause.
justanothername · 51-55, M
She needs to talk to a doctor or a specialist because her problem won’t go away if it’s ignored but it’s probably easy to fix it.
Maturebate · 70-79, M
Dont get advice from amateurs here. Seek professional medical advice.
Tell your, uh, friend 😉🫠 to see her gyn to make sure there's nothing wrong internally.
redredred · M
Vaginismus is a real and difficult issue. She should see a gynecologist.

Find a new partner?
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@MURD3RM0NK3Y That's bad advice 😂 . She's in love she ain't going nowhere.
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
@Thandeka Ok. Use more lube then I guess
Endometriosis?
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@NerdyPotato Does it cause pain during intercourse?
@Thandeka it can do that, yes.
FatherTime · 61-69, M
idk. sounds odd. maybe she is just more sensitive?
He should RUN

Only a couple times over 3 years?

She has a problem i would think.

I knew a girl that way in her 50s that couldn't take a cock.

Im only average size.
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@KentuckyWildcats I don't think they do it that much. They live in different cities and see each other a handful of times in a year. I was telling her to get the issue sorted out so that it doesn't become a problem when they get married. He's been talking about marrying her a lot lately and she's anxious about it.
justanothername · 51-55, M
Does your friend get aroused before starting sex?
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@justanothername She says she does.
Only a gynecologist could say for certain. But it shouldn’t be painful every time.
