That's a good question because I battle with it. If I feel it is life or death, yes. Otherwise, I feel people have to learn lessons in order to grow. I know that sounds cruel, but sometimes it's the only way. Words go in one ear and out the other. But actions, decisions, behavior and reactions are the learning blocks of life.

It cost me a lot when I did. Speaking from the heart felt right at the time, but it wasn’t received the way I hoped. So maybe not everything needs to be said out loud…but if it weighs on the heart, it’s probably already speaking in other ways. And honestly, sometimes I wonder if it’s just the heart being dramatic again, maybe it needs to chill before I hand it the mic next time.

Is there a way of delivering the words in a, for lack of a better description, “politically correct” way that would minimize harm to the recipient while bringing you some comfort and relief? Maybe you just need some more time to craft the right words.
