"Back on the day" I worked in a Sears. The candy counter sold popcorn and soft drinks. They sold a lot of it and of course people spilled a lot. The cleaning contractor had to keep someone on the premises to continually sweep up the popcorn and to clean up spilled sticky drinks. Do people spill that much at home?

Not Sears, but I used to work at a mall and every time I walked past the fudge shop it smelled like heaven lol

I remember the smell of Sears, but it wasn’t nuts and chocolate, it was of cheap, plastic shoes. I remember this so clearly because I truly hated those shoes lol
