What's your earliest memory of the worst pain imaginable?

So when I was very young I was with my nana who loved to garden and we went into the backyard and she handed me aerogard and I thought good stuff! I'll spray myself, you spray yourself with this stuff to keep the bugs off. I accidentally sprayed myself in the eyes!!! OH MY GOD!!! I'd never known such pain in my entire life!! The worst part was the realization that I couldn't escape the agonizing fire that was burning my eyes!!!

Oh my God, awful :( I'm so sorry you went through that. I would say the worst pain I have ever been in was coming out of surgery to remove endometrial cysts. It was like a 30 out of 10- my ENTIRE body was in SEARING pain, to even move an INCH. Morphine didn't even help :( They gave me Dilotted (spelling?) and it was like Gold.... took every ounce of the pain away. But unfortunately b/c it is so strong, they can only give ONE dose to a patient.

@Coralmist are they gone now?

My ex had those as a teenager. Never came back. Ovaries were ok.

@Tastyfrzz The cysts are gone yes, and the pain too. It lasted (the pain from surgery wound) several months to a year , off and on, and finally diminished after that.

@Coralmist that would freak anyone out.

@Tastyfrzz Mine have come back :( I do have two cysts again.. they frequently come back. So far for a year they have not grown too much, b/c I am on a type of birth control med that minimizes their growth.

@Coralmist any reason to not just have the ovary removed? Be safer.
