My fear is I will neglect my observer status and become unable to analyze others. Though feeling like being in this cage sucks a crapton. Hmm

What if, healing, instead of erasing a bit of you, added many new bits of you that you couldn't see before healing? Are you not interested in your full potential? No one can take away the core of you. But have in mind that the core of you is far greater than what you're going through. So.. the experience can't take a fragment from you. It can only enrich your ovrall view. Stay strong. Heal. If you don't like the healed you, you can always go back xD but I highly believe that a healed you will be more you than a non-healed you. Healed = whole = fulfilled. You will be not only "more you" but also complete, aware, balanced. Hope you do allow yourself the grace of healing :)

@sp1dwoOfe221 Pardon?
Anything that prevents you from healing is nothing that you want to keep. When you're truly healed you will never be worse for it.
@ostfuidctyvm I understand your meaning. But I’m here because of decisions that I made, that I still believed were right. And that if others had tried as hard as I did, would have turned out for the best.
@SWGhost The decisions you made were what you felt were best for you in the moment that you made them.
If you had a physical wound, you wouldn't sit there until you bled out. If what happened was severe enough that you need to heal from it, you'll always have these scars.
Healing isn't about erasure, nothing will take whatever you went through away from you... it's about forgiveness so that you can move forward without carrying this all consuming pain with you wherever you go.

Trust me, once you're healed you won't miss whatever unhealthy there was in your system. Because you won't care about the same stuff anymore.

You are not your situation, feeling, or scars. You have a soul like everyone else, entirely unique, and valued. Nothing can take away from that. Your past can't be erased, sure, but don't let it dictate your future. You deserve to heal, be loved, and cared for.
I healed it was horrendous! I actually felt like I had died within.
Then I felt amazing, like brand new.

I feel similarly, but also in a different way - that if I heal I may no longer feel so deeply for a particular person. I am afraid of that
Busybee333 · 31-35, F
@gethsemane You will still feel deeply. However, it will no longer control you. Your will will outpower it. Give yourself a chance ;)

Healing is a process. As long as you have had the experiences, its a part of you.

Yes, you have to learn from experience it and it makes you who you are. Get over it but don’t forget about it. I guess. Is the way. Not that I know a lot about you or your issue.
