What I would give for someone to make me feel that way

Dirty Dancing, one of my favorite movies is on and it's the scene where Penny is crying on the floor b/c she is 'knocked up'. Johnny ( Patrick Swayze) swoops her up , (they are dance partners in the film.) He holds her close and says, 'I'm never gonna let anything happen to you'.

Sighhh. I miss Swayze so much, and I'd give anything on this planet to have a man hold me like that, (in a more positive circumstance) and say those words. 🩷🥴

I liked Patrick Swayze in the movie "Ghost" with Demi Moore.

I found the scene where he has the opportunity to meet his girlfriend before he is taken to heaven so emotional.

@Stephie I think he looked quite feminine in ghost, he was better in dirty dancing I think but it's a lovely film ☺

@PatientlyWaiting25 He may have been more feminine but he also was more vulnerable from an emotional point of view and I found it nice that the producers did not make him play a macho role.

Unpopular opinion: Feminism says to women "you are strong, you don't need a man" and then we lost the differences between the sexes. It seems to be the more you relax and let men be men, the more they will take on the qualities like that that we still find so attractive.
