Do you get self conscious if someone...

Happens to *check you out*?

This happened a few days ago and today. A guy looked at me and kept looking back at me , and while I feel a rush of excitement, I feel so self conscious too. I looked away, both times, When what I really wanted to do was smile. I guess it's my self esteem, which is low. I'll think, 'You're not looking at much buddy' I really wish I could ever feel ok about myself. Do you ever experience that?

I'll share this with you. I was with my crazy ex at a family function. She and two of her sisters were sitting on a couch and I was sitting down elsewhere. Crazy ex summoned me to the couch, but didn't ask me to sit down(there was no room). "Look over there," she said, pointing to the window to the left. Then, she said, "Look over there," she said again, this time pointing toward the opposite direction. What was I looking for?

Oh.

I had just gotten checked out by three sisters, who enjoyed muffled conversation between themselves. They had silly looks on their faces, but still it was a little off-putting. It was like being rated at the Olympics by East Germany or something.

That was the most blatant time I can recently recall. But I'm a guy, I can't perceive if a woman is checking me out, but I know for a fact it still happens.

Guys, of course, are terrible at being subtle and he was really looking at you.

Sounds like the auctioneers studying body parts from the chattel of slave ships
