Have we gotten so cynical.....
I kinda feel like I should feel something other than jaded amusement at the failure of civilization, the pretentiousness of some and the imminent conflict that we will all lose.

@bijouxbroussard The conspiracy theorists delude themselves thinking they belong to some special enlightened minority that would thrive in it, possessing some kind of "forbidden knowledge" that nobody else has. Reality would be much, much uglier both for themselves and everyone else too.

Civilization/ has had every opportunity to change its/our ways. Greed has won out over kindness. All we need is Snake Plissken to press that button and end it all.
