'Xalvadora' isn't my real name...
I am not going to reveal my real name.
Every time I hear my family call my real name, I feel a bit shaken because I feel like this kid and teenage girl who always annoys people with her innocent complaints and being a sight for sore eyes. When I also hear that name, all I see is an insecure little girl in a woman's body, not given the chance to grow up and mature.
I picked the name 'Xalvadora' because names starting with the letter 'X' is not that common, so I would like to think that I am not that common as well. I don't care about the meaning.
Whenever people online calls me 'Xalvadora,' it feels like I am just inches away from growing up. I would like to leave my biological name behind with past me, and accept 'Xalvadora' with open arms as I reach the starting line/point to adulthood and maturity.
