A few years back there was a weekly writing challenge. Someone else brought it back for a short while. Then it disappeared again.

Perhaps someone might bring it back once again.

I have a writing portfolio and I keep thinking about trying to break into freelance writing but I haven't taken the plunge yet.

I write, or at least I used to. I've written two novels, a novella, a screenplay and I self-published a book of short fiction for the wife's birthday one year.

I write but have not submitted anything for publishing just yet.
What genre do you write?

I haven't written anything for a long time - I keep on promising myself that I'll dust off the drafts of a couple of novels I was trying to write. Life always gets in the way

I used to write. Never published anything. It's hard to sell a novel. Most of what I've written is probably short stories and poetry, though.

I write non-fiction and have nearly completed my first book.

Yep! Nothing like making a fictional person's life a misery when you've had enough of yohr own.
