That is a basic part of being an adult. If I want to run with scissors while on a slick surface, who is going to stop me?
But yeah once we are grown we should enjoy our adultery.

Being an adult makes me realise what made me a moronic child

@Longpatrol I do not have anything to really back this but in my observation, maturity peaks at some point in our 30's. After that it is downhill. I think my 26 year old son is more mature than I am.

@CestManan Probably got to do with the early years of child rearing and having to *shudder* set an example

@Longpatrol One of the most hated expressions ever. *shudder* is the damned truth.
🤔 Ya know, you may have a point there. Of course my son has a child now so yeah he has to pretend to be grown up now.
Once the kids are raised though, we can go back to being immature jackasses. :D
I figure I will be 50 in less than two years, my time is too short to waste it acting mature.

I'm lucky and don't have to do many adult things so most of the time I don't really give it much thought.
