Yes thats is great advice and since her feet will still be developing and growing by going barefoot everywhere it will only help to develop healthy strong feet which she will be grateful of as an adult.

@DavidT8899 That sounds like a wonderful bonding experience to have with such a sweet and free girl. I’m sure she loved sharing her young feet with you. I hope you get to spend time with her again and continue having fun experiences and hopefully, have some more of those special moments. She will love having a young man like you to be barefoot with and be a role model on how to live more freely.

@NudeAllTheTime Thank you,and Im certain we will.In fact,I intend to have many more such experiences. The next thing I'd like do to w/her is have us both run around the streets of our neighborhood in bare feet like a couple of freaks 😉, and get the bottoms of our feet completely pitch-black.We could both go into stores and other public places just to see the reaction .

@NudeAllTheTime I thought you'd want to know that I received a very interesting offer from the girls Mom.She is going away one day this weekend and she's offered me money to help the girl-her name is Courtney-clean her house.I agreed to do it,and not just because of the financial incentive.I see it as an excellent opportunity to bond w/her over some more "barefoot time."Courtney and I have already discussed the general details of our cleaning plan;the first thing we agreed upon is that we will both,of course,go in our bare feet. So,Im affraid that we'll have to save the pitch black feet for another time.We both realize that for cleaning our soles should be pristine-Spic-n Span,BAREFOOT clean 😀 you might say!But Im sure we'll have a lot of fun.Meassage me if you want to hear about how it went.

Huh?

Yes, 12-yr-olds are VERY well-known for their amazing common sense. This is why we allow them to drive, get handguns, vote, smoke, drink, have sex with whomever, marry, and never give them advice intended to help them.

Her ability to "avoid any dangerous objects wile[sic] walking" has a lot to do with where she walks, how attentive she is to the walking, etc.

Also, bits of glass and metal, etc., can be undetectable until you have stepped on them.

It used to be said that going barefoot is the major cause of ringworm in the American South. Besides nematodes from bits left behind in animal feces--and where such feces *once* were is not always self-evident, depending upon the surface, time, etc.--chemicals from fertilization, planting, weed/pest/lawn treatments, etc., are also absorbable.

I know this is religion for many, but...smh

Kids should be encouraged to be barefooted. I was not, and discovered it for myself. It's healthier, and has other mental and spiritual benefits.
