I’m feeling bitter, on edge, anxious, overwhelmed and low moods; which has been lingering for over a month now. I don’t want to burden anyone or drag my family and friends into my emotional slump
Maybe, try to give them your words, I often find those who love you, while it's frightening and scary, as what will you do if they don't understand you, it helps just giving your words and how they are there for you?
Literally write down the moods you feel at certain times of the day or night and see if those moods correspond with anything specific that's happening at that moment. Then maybe you can identify what's causing you to feel that way. Don't think you're strange or weird for feeling those emotions, most people do feel them at some point, but it sounds like yours are steadily overwhelming you. I don't think anyone can truly advise you unless we know what's going on in your life.
