Do you wish you were famous?

I would not want to be famous in the sense of everyone recognizing me when I walked into the room.

But there are other kinds of fame. There are plenty of famous authors, for example, who people know by name but have no idea what they look like. And even the names might be pen names, and not their real name.

And of course, in the world of academic research, there are "famous" mathematicians, "famous" literary theorists, etc., whose fame only extends as far as other specialists in their fields. (And nobody hounds them for autographs at academic conferences!)

That kind of fame would be an acknowledgment of being well regarded for what I do, but it would not have the hassles of "being a celebrity".

So, while I do not crave fame for the sake of fame, it would be satisfying to be able to say that I have accomplished something that many consider to be worthwhile.

No. I like myself just as I am however I believe I was meant to be a singer, on a grander scale then what I have been in the past. Not for fame but because music and singing is my heart.

I would like to be at least a little famous, as long as it was for something positive.

I always find it a bit sad when someone's ambition is to "be famous" but they haven't thought about what they'd actually be famous for? Just craving fame in it's own right is how we got to the vacuous, reality TV, TikTok obsessed mess that we're in.

Sometimes i think that idc about friendships either. I made not so close friends whom i can talk with at the skatepark, college and around bars. I like to live at many atmospheres separate from one another; for instance i wouldn't like my college friends to join me skating or vice versa. I like the freedom life that I'm living, I'm not tied to anyone. I hangout and chill with whoever appears in my way without planning.

Maybe in the way that nobody would know my real name and what I look like.

I was famous twice at boarding school. Once when I won a big gymnastics competition and afterwards everyone expected me to perform and coach on demand 😕 The other when I got a pencil eraser stuck up my nose and had to go to hospital to remove it 🙄

These days I'm more than happy with anonymity. I make myself indispensible to many people through my work and most of them don't realise it 🙂 Suits me fine, so long as they pay up all the same!

I had a brief moment of fame(locally😀) after appearing on the tv.
Sadly the world cannot see it on you tube but if you ever come across Sportfolio,series one,episode one,I’m on it talking about 🏏

I wish I had the money most famous people have. 😙 Or to be talented at something like singing , acting etc.
