I hate those damn things; they attack as if you were trespassing on sacred grounds. When I run over a nest of them on my farm, and after being chased and stung. I return with wasp spray using the can on the exposed yellow jacket nest on the ground and in the air for any air born bastardly Yellow Jackets. Not satisfied with just a little revenge for the attack and several burning stings of my initial discovery of the Yellow Jacket nest, after using the can of wasp spray. I take a shovel and dig into the nest hole exposing the nest and hive (Very Quickly Too) dump in some gasoline and toss in a lit match to celebrate my revenge properly.

@WillaKissing I’ll get the Raid wasp killer and get up on a ladder and spray and then go into the house and take a shower, chemical insecticides are nerve agents…yikes.

@SW-User I have been bit by a big red ant 8 times when it got under my jeans and every bite swelled up and hurt like a bee sting. And a couple years later had a scorpion climb up under my jeans and got to my knee. I thought it was a red ant and slowly peeled my baggy jeans off and there laid a scorpion

@LunarOrbit It doesn’t feel nearly as bad as the first time I got stung. I can’t take Benadryl because it will paralyze me for 4 hours till it wears off

@SweetMae I feel something but not throbbing like when I got stung before. Mostly I think it was dragging the stinger along my leg and venom leaking out. I kept grabbing that area through my pants to see if I could feel anything. There’s a bump on my leg. Maybe drink some vinegar and see if it helps

@FurryFace When one yellow jacket stings the others come after you too…dozens…I got stung on my deck after putting something underneath the table. I didn’t know they were building a nest underneath the table and one stung me. I was right by the patio door and ran inside an watched through the window the others swarming the glass on the door trying to get inside.

@Chickie I kept feeling a prickly sensation and thought a black widow spider was biting me so I came inside and pulled my seersucker capri pants off and shined a strong flashlight on my pants and there was a wasp in them. Now it’s in my room. I sprayed it with a natural spray but it kept moving so I set the can of spray over on top of it till I get the nerve to bash it. Need to take a ladder out and spray the nest

@Zonuss I let the boy look at the back of my leg with a light and he says there is a red spot, it is raised up. It doesn’t hurt like the other yellow jacket bite I got. I think maybe it just dripped some venom from it’s stinger on my leg or scratched it, not an actual sting.

@RogueLoner Those damn sweat bees used to get me when I was young. There were a lot at the cemetery when we’d go visit. They would come and land their butts on my arm and sting me and it felt like a cigarette burn. You don’t have to do anything to rile them up, they just come and find you.
