Thank you for everyone’s comments, very interesting.
@LilithoftheTrees someone gave a thumbs down for this?
@LilithoftheTrees this place never disappoints ☺️

Anywhere in Texas. Beautiful state, but the people were so incredibly pretentious and rude to outsiders of their twangy, fake tough chunk of the country.
@Crazywaterspring I dedicated a song to those of you whom I like. 😄
southbeachguy · 46-50, M
What part of Texas? I am a near lifelong Texan find the scenery terrible people above average in most cases. I have been to all 50 states and most any populate city in America. Also have lived in Miami area last 15 years off and on. @RebelFox
redredred · M
@RebelFox Texas is so big because no one else wanted a piece of it.

@SW-User it was bad even in the 1970s. Yet I don't how it is today.
Probably on the same level of San Antonio though which for me is far more recent.
SW-User
@DeWayfarer I loved San Antonio in the 80s, but it was during the day, not at night.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@SW-User you simply wouldn't recognize it then.

Went to boot camp in San Antonio and then training at camp Bullis near there in 1978.

It's totally different now.
Elessar · 26-30, M
Venetian suburbs I guess

LPT: Try not to be around these areas when it gets dark 😅
SW-User
@Elessar people don't live there I suppose. 😐
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SW-User They do. I mean, it's mostly abandoned factories and buildings, occupied by homeless, gangs, etc.

NYC.....ever beeen in a Greyhound bus terminal at midnight? Hah......'eff that. It was like experiencing drugged walkers, and police gliding thur at the last moment. So yah.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@SW-User that statue is an ode to his honeymooners role as a bus driver
SW-User
@AthrillatheHunt I know. Ironic in that's where out of town buses start and stop.

Greyhound at Atlantic City I'll put up against anything. Never checked but I'd bet the house the stalls all have glory holes
RedBaron · M
@Freeranger You obviously haven't spent much time here. The Port Authority terminal is not nearly the whole city.
Nimbus · M
Lilnonames · F
@Nimbus with a name like liver pool what u expect 🤭

@Lilnonames I was just about to say the same thing, 🤣 liver pool ???? 🤢

So hard to pick just one…
Spokane, WA. It's a sad and depressed city with a large homeless population.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@TheFlippantSide I’ve always wondered what Spokane was like!
@Fukfacewillie My boyfriend and I recently stayed there for a couple of nights to see a concert. The surrounding area does have a lot of natural beauty to it, but most of the parks have been taken over by homeless tent camps. The drive from Seattle was beautiful, though, and we plan on going back to the little town of Snoqualmie Falls some time next year.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@TheFlippantSide very nice pic! So sad what has happened. State parks rendered useless…
spjennifer · 61-69, T
Calcutta, India, what a hellhole, the stench alone was enough to make you 🤮!
Carazaa · F
@LordShadowfire All of Oregon is so beautiful I think!
@spjennifer why did you go if you didn't like it?
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@littlepuppywantanewlife I had to go there for work, no choice.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
Hemaruka. Nothing there at all.
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
@hippyjoe1955 Nothing out that way to bump ones eyes on!!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Quimliqer Last time I was there it was a ghost town. I don't know if there is any buildings left standing now.
Detroit, back in the day.

Nairobi
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Ghostinthemachine I’ve been to Nairobi . And it’s heaven on earth compared to many other African cities like Lagos, Dakar, etc..
Detroit has only gotten worse from what I’ve been told .
@AthrillatheHunt I’ll take your word for it. I wasn’t there long but saw a setup for a crime, mob justice, and the bombed out embassy while I was.

Detroit last time I was there, seemed better than when I was there in the 80s, on its way to recovery.

@crystalkid I can believe it .

Been there too. The town no longer has a police department and is patrolled by the county. It’s a slum with one of the highest crime percentages in NJ. But at least their policing is “progressive.” 😆@SumKindaMunster

Not a town, rather a big city and believe it or not I've seen worse things in San Antonio than I ever saw in LA or Los Vegas.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@SW-User not certain to what you're referring.

Only town where I came across blatant human trafficking in the open. And to my knowledge nothing was done about it.

Yes I know it's happening in all three cities. Yet this was on a main city street, during the day, at a crowded bus stop.
SW-User
@DeWayfarer Ugh. But we need even a bigger wave crossing the border. This time there will be no bad element coming in!
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@SW-User don't believe that was the issue. Not in 2003 nearly 20 years ago. Human trafficking was and is an issue for as long as humans have existed, irregardless of borders.
cycleman · 61-69, M
Venice. Summertime and too many American tourist destroyed what I was taught was there.

Waterford Ireland. They make gorgeous crystal but the town is so bleak, so dark, dreary and deptessing I literally could not get out of the car😵

Acapulco was pretty bleak. Was expecting MUCH more

I guess no place was bad enough for me to remember it as the worst town.
El Paso felt like the Wild West and the hotel was filthy. But seemed like a cool nightlife otherwise.
hyg346 · 46-50, M
Hell, Michigan. It wasn't hell at all, it was quite pleasant. Flagrant false advertising, I was expecting something much worse and it didn't live up to expectations. 🙄

reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
Puerto Barrio in Guatemala. I came in by boat from livingston and I had to wait for a bus to go to Guatemala city. the place was so horrible and sketchy that I sat in this chinese restaurant for hours, buying a tiny thing every 45 minutes or so. while I was sitting in the restaurant prostitutes would stop in front of the restaurant and make fellacio gestures to try to get me to go with them. a real freak show.
@reflectingmonkey sounds like it.
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
@LilithoftheTrees now I know, if I go to Livingston I go in and come back from rio dulce and take a lancha (boat). wonderful ride through the jungle on a boat.
