how do i stop being invisible

I dont know if this helps, but my daughter went through the same feelings in high school trying to "fit in". I am lucky being always able to maintain communication with my kids, so I sat down with her and found out what it was she really wanted to do. Rather than compromising to be part of the group, I pointed her toward becoming her own person and following her own path. Now I get thats not ideal, but its not the end of the story. Within a short time, she found a small group of people interested in being part of her direction. She became a "trend" herself. Since then she has developed into quite the leader. (God help her Husband)😷

They usually call when they want something.
Tip 1. Dont be available when they do.
Suddenly when your not so available, you become the topic of all their conversations. (Be prepared not so complimentary)
Making the same mistake over and over again, you have to look at what you are doing and why you are allowing these things.

Find somebody to help you work on your self esteem. Then start taking action in your life.

I don't think that can be helped. I'm in your shoes. I have classmates who doesn't think about me nor speak to me when spoken first. I had this friend who I though was my best friend and she completely ignored me at school.
Yet, we aren't the only ones that are like this. I'm mostly quiet, so of course you won't notice me here.
