Hey, I don't know you but I do care about you. It's never a good feeling when you feel invisible and pushed aside and ignored. But I can guarantee you that you are not a mistake. Wanna know how I know? I know because you are honest about your situation enough to say what's going on right now, and you've just said what a lot of people have been feeling and experiencing but haven't been able to say.

You remind me of how my time in highschool was and my heart breaks for you. But I'm also happy that you're alive. Please don't give up - days like this are indescribably hard, but you will see better days if you don't give up. You have soooooooooo much life left to live, so many better friends to make, so many cool things to see, so many beautiful places to visit!

If you feel comfortable enough, I'd be happy to connect here or on discord or whatever if you don't have anyone to talk to. But things will get better if you give it time. I promise.

Reminds me of my school years. My parents have a favorite too. It's disgusting. They're terrible parents if they have favorites. They shouldn't be allowed to be called adults. They're irresponsible and childlike to have "favorites". They're the mistakes. Not you. Their brains failed to develop to maturity. Only 5 year olds have "favorite" toys. Then you grow the hell up and take responsibility. Don't you get up for school even though it's not your "favorite" thing to do?
Like jeez. Parents like that need a good slap across the face. They're shameful excuse of a human being.

@assemblingaknob Thanks for the tip. When i get married and have kids, i won't play this "favorite" game with them, i would love them and treat them equally.

Trust me, i have been there, it gets better with time. You'll stop caring about a lot of things in your 20s that don't even matter that much. I was miserable in my teen years, i cried myself to sleep a lot of nights, i would sleep whole time and do nothing productive with my time, i would just sit and stare at the ceiling and waste my time away like that but i got out in the world, i talked to people, i worked at the shop, i got better at understanding things and people and i realized 90% of the things that we're so worried about don't even matter.

Focus on yourself. And I am not intending that in a selfish way. Put time and effort into your education. Find a hobby or interest to pursue. Improve yourself and others shall start getting drawn in.

Nobody has everything, but if you make something of yourself you can have a career and interests. When you can learn to enjoy life by yourself other people will want to come along for your ride.

The best revenge is often a life well lived. It may be hard to imagine that from your current position. But if you work at it you night be surprised how much better things can get.

And as for friends, friends is a dumb concept. No one's a friend. You're your only friend. Remember that. Don't betray yourself. Work hard and make something out of you. No one's gonna be loyal enough to you. You gotta be loyal to yourself.

maybe you need to start loving your brother too!
