I am skyrocketing in college. But backwards (into a volcano

Hi, im not really one to post online but screw it.
I'm an architecture freshman and college is not the best time in my life right now. This is the lowest I have ever fell academically. I just got my first line of 7 in one subject and the other courses aren't that great either. What's worse is that I am on academic probation and if I fail even just one subject, I might get booted. Today I got a full on 0/50 on a calculus exam that I really studied hard on. I am really slowly losing hope, which in turn makes me not want to try anymore, which then makes my grades crappy, and then the cycle happens again. I would like some advice, but if you don't then that's okay, I just wanted this off my chest.

Can you change your major?
Chops · 18-21, F
@Dan509 Hypothetically, I could switch to another course but I'd rather stay in architecture
Dan509 · 26-30, M
@Chops But if you don't pass then you won't stay in regardless and your GPA will go down
Chops · 18-21, F
@Dan509 I guess...
I guess I'm just really embarrased because my family put so much faith in me to study architecture. I don't know if it's me or if it's the terrible profs or the pandemic but to be honest, I was pretty good in highschool but now it feels like I crashed and burned

@Chops maybe it just took awhile to see what you are good at. I had to change my major in college for the same reason and I'm glad I did

@Dan509 Won't it cost quite alot to switch majors? I'm not exactly sure if I could change courses if money is being involved. Genuine question btw, i dont really know how it works

@Chops talk to the academic advisors about that, they might be able to work it out with you
