I Don’t like my friend but he’s in my friend group so i can’t banish him out of my life

There comes a time to die off from those who are toxic in your life, by that I mean just cutting them out. Your “friend” is no friend or he wouldn’t make you feel like shit. You can try telling him what your experiencing in his company, but if he doesn’t listen than cut him off. That includes your whole group of friends. Easier said than done, but your goal is to not feel like shit around friends in life. Your group of friends includes him so cutting them off too is the best way to be rid of him. You’ll make new friends in time.

Stand up for yourself. If your group doesn't support you then they're not a group of friends, they're a group of bullies.

I've had this before and even lost my group of friends. You put him in his place and walk away. If your "friends" dont take your side and/or reach out to you then they arent your friends. Trust me when I say I know it doesnt sound fun but to get rid of these people is good for you. When it happened to me I've know these people for 10+ years and they are no longer in my life.

they're not real friends, walk away and find real friends if that is what you want.

Do your other friends stand up for you at all? Because they should if they are decent friends.

Those damn friend groups. They literally make us hostages.
