I Don’t like my friend but he’s in my friend group so i can’t banish him out of my life

My friend constantly makes fun of me about different stuff and he’s such a hypocrite all the time and i really need to get rid of him in my life so it can be better. Unfortunately he’s in my friend group so that wouldn’t work out better as he’s closer with everyone else so i don’t know what to do anymore, i seriously need advice i can’t handle the humiliation anymore.

I've had this before and even lost my group of friends. You put him in his place and walk away. If your "friends" dont take your side and/or reach out to you then they arent your friends. Trust me when I say I know it doesnt sound fun but to get rid of these people is good for you. When it happened to me I've know these people for 10+ years and they are no longer in my life.
