I am Rude. Or so my new cleaning lady informed me.

She put my new pillow on the floor, and when I told her that I have severe asthma, and I don't want my pillow on the floor, she argued that she had just cleaned the floor, and where else was she supposed to put it? I pointed out the empty chair.

I reminded her that I have severe asthma, and am allergic to dust mites, and that I don't want my pillow on the floor, and told her that she is just not thinking.

She said, "That's REALLY RUDE!!!"

Then she said it is obvious that I am not happy with her, (ya' think?), and said she was going to ask to be reassigned.

This was after about an hour of NO work, and arguments when she first started this morning, because I mistakenly believed that when you are done mopping a floor there should not be food on it and it should actually LOOK clean.

I had to call her work to get clear about their policies, and apparently filthy floors are okay with them.

There is something really, really wrong somewhere.

It must be me.

Thats why I do my own cleaning because no one cleans better than me.

@BeJeweled I have arthritis in my lower back, both knees, and tendonitis in my right wrist, so it's a little bit difficult for me. Painful.

@4meAndyou I hope you find someone to help you soon!

@BeJeweled Thank you! I don't think it will be soon...but I have resolved to sit on my office chair and scoot around. If I wear a wrist brace, it might work!
@4meAndyou you can also throw a moist microfibre cloth on the floor, (hang onto the bench if you need to), put your foot on the cloth, (maybe even have one under each foot) , and shuffle along the floor.

Yes...i kniwit sounds amd looks funny. But it works .
And you use a grabby thingy to pick up the cloths off the floor.

This actually works better than mopping, as your increased weight really pushes the microfibre into all the fine irregularities of the floor.

If its a big floor , have multiple cloths, and then throw them in the washing machine .

Cleaning with physical limitations needs to be worked around, otherwise it just hurts so much 🥺

@OogieBoogie Actually I did something like that today, after Miss Useless left. I poured a bit of straight cleaner on the spots she would not clean, let it soak for a few minutes, brushed it THREE times with the broom brush, and then put a wad of paper towels down to sop up the excess cleaner. Of course then I decided I had to clean the floorboard, because if I don't overdo it's just not me...🤣🤣🤣. And I thought I got away with it till later when my spine started to spaz out in the middle of my back. At least that was a different spot than usual...🙄

I used my feet as I was sitting in the office chair to push the wad of paper towels around, and didn't even need the grabby thing as a corner was not wet or dirty...so I picked it up by that corner.

Only one problem...I managed to rip something in my wrist and hand that had more or less healed till today. So I won't be able to do more for several days till that stops feeling like it's ripped.
@4meAndyou that really sucks that you can't r do the things you want to do, the way yoi want to do it.
Why do our bodies have to betray us?
Life is challenge enough .

I hope your nexr cleaner is a good one 🙏😊
